Larissa Pierce
Larissa’s passion for horses began at an early age, riding lesson horses in the jumper ring and falling in love with the sport. At just five years old, her parents bought her first horse—and from that moment on, there was no looking back.
While Larissa has always loved jumping, she deeply values the foundational aspects of riding. Her appreciation for well-rounded horsemanship led her to work alongside professional trainers, gaining hands-on experience by coaching riders, exercising horses, and competing whenever possible.
At age 20, Larissa took her commitment to the next level by enrolling at Meredith Manor International Equestrian College, where she earned certifications in both horse training and rider instruction.
With over 10 years of professional experience, Larissa is passionate about bringing out the best in every horse and rider pair. Her coaching philosophy centers on adaptability—meeting each rider and horse where they are, and encouraging them to stay curious, open-minded, and ready to take on new challenges.
Currently based at JRF, Larissa fosters a supportive, dynamic learning environment for riders of all levels. Among the horses she works with, she shares a particularly strong bond with Stepsun—a loyal, eager partner with a quirky personality and a willingness to learn.
