JRF Equestrian Boarding
Enjoy our friendly, fun and family oriented easy going atmosphere nestled in the quant town of Lucama. Our barn hosts a 20 stall barn with beautiful fencing lining every pasture. We have a outdoor jump arena with lights, a regulation dressage ring, an oversized round pen with cavalettis, group poles and small jumps and a covered 60 foot round pen. We have a boarders tack room, private feed room, wash pit with hot and cold water. All of our stalls offer fresh shavings piled on top of rubber mats with automatic waterers, fans, heat lamps and bright LED lighting.
Every horse or pony will enjoy up to 8 hours of turnout in one of our beautiful grassy pastures. We can limit the amount of turnout for those who need or require less time out. Individual turnout is limited and will be subject to an additional charge. We have a hot walker for those who cant be turned out for a long time but need the exercise and we also have a rehab pasture for those who need to take some time away from other horses to feel better.
All new additions will be quarantined for a period of 7-14 days and must have proof of recent negative coggins and up to date on ALL vaccines and must be dewormed according to vet recommendations. All Boarders are required to sign a three month agreement at the beginning of their contract.
Training and Lessons, Show Groom and Clip, regular grooming and bathing, holding for Farrier and Vet, Excessive Vet Care for Colic or Injuries, Extra Grain (more than 10 lbs /day), Extra hay, and supplements not provided by owner are all subject to additional cost on top of board.
